This document will cover what it is, how it works and a summary of the use of the Tools and Widgets of the thingable! platform. As we can see in Figure 1, these two categories are easily identified in the solution. The use of each item that composes them will be presented in detail below, following the order of organization of this "Work Area".
Tool designed to create, design and import SVG images, which can be pivoted on the thingable! platform, through tags contained in the application database, or used statically.
It is a tool, where it is possible to create dynamics in SVG images, which can represent states of alarms, drawings or visual animations related to the tags and monitored points contained in the platform database.
Tool for the development of the entire layout structure and visualization of user-created applications. After the creation and editing steps, the application will be available in a new section called "Applications". In this link you can access a complete guide to creating applications: : Application.
This functionality, considered extremely important, allows us to be part of the integration of new devices with the platform, for the reception of data to be monitored. Once new devices are created we will have new information available such as: ID or serial number, Name, Type, Current communication status and the options field (Credentials, Device Events, Settings and Remove), where the editable parts of the device in question are.
This tool has the function of creating users, groups and functions within the application. Each user can be allocated to a certain group, and each group and/or user can be linked to a certain type of function, within the organization of the application. Specific permissions may be granted to users and/or groups.
This tool makes it possible to geo-locate the devices registered in the application. The maps created can be inserted within the previously created applications.
It is a feature that features all the services configurable on the thingable platform! (history or integration/parameterization). Separated into several feature tabs, we will talk about each of them below:
• History service: location that stores tag calculations, report configuration services, remote device data receipt configuration.
• MSG/WhatsApp alert service: configurable features related to sending monitoring alert messages to users (defined by the customer). In short, where you enable, parameterize and configure alerts by SMS, WhatsApp and email.
• Email and phone: tab where the settings of users registered on the platform are located to receive notifications of alarm alerts.
Below is an example of an alert received by the user by email:
IBM Watson credentials: location where the application MQTT key is to be used in interactions involving Logic Builder.
Event services: where are the settings for parameterization of actions on device based on events.
Alarm Configuration: area for setting alarms on the map. You can define which alarms will appear on the map.
Brand Management: tool where it is possible to customize logos ,names and icons on the platform in a totally "white-label" way.
Tool responsible for linking a device to an application. The main actions are:
Linking a device already registered on the platform to an app
Upgrade on any link already done previously
It is a low-code logic builder with a very intuitive graphical interface. The user can create all the logics to be used in commands, publication, data receipt and functionality of the thingable! platform, through function blocks and/or lines of code (JAVA Script language).
Through logical flows it is possible to facilitate the receipt of data from different equipment, or sources, to the app, and thus monitor, change/add functions, evaluate and even detect problems.
Tool that offers the user an interface for managing alarms coming from the SCADA system running on the thingable! platform. The options available are typical of traditional SCADA systems such as viewing, configuring, and recognizing individual alarms or groups of alarms.
Area where you get detailed reports of all the information that arrives on the thingable platform! such as: monitoring data (with the option to choose profiles), equipment, parameters, etc. It is still possible to view on screen and export them to some common formats such as PDF, RTF, XLS, EXCEL, CSV, PPTX, ODT and ODS.
